more ... Uncommon Signs of Pregnancy
Are you experiencing embarrassing flatulence or constipation? These are early pregnancy signs. Hormones can slow your digestive system, resulting in both. Drink plenty of water and try to stay away from gaseous foods like broccoli and cauliflower. Your slower digestive system compounded by increasing hormones will result in morning sickness too. But don't let that name fool you as morning sickness can actually last the entire day!
Your basal body temperature is your oral temperature when you first wake up in the morning. If you have been tracking your BBT to follow your ovulation, you know your temperature rises upon ovulation. If you are pregnant, the temperature usually continues to be at a higher level.
Finally, implantation bleeding can occur when your egg attaches to the uterine wall. Some women experience a slight bloody show when the egg implants itself. This may be confusing if you are expecting a period and don't know if you are pregnant.
If you think you are pregnant or are experiencing changes in your body that you don't understand, please call your doctor as soon as possible. This is your first step to a healthy pregnancy and if you aren't pregnant, your physician will be able to determine the cause of your body's changes.
